You don’t need to escape your life. You don’t need to disappear. And you don’t need to be fixed.
What you do need is space. Space to slow your nervous system. Space to think clearly. Space to come back into your body and stop living only in your head.
This retreat is intentionally designed to give you that space.
This is not a vacation. This is not group therapy. This is not a packed schedule that leaves you more exhausted than when you arrived.
This is a burnout recovery retreat—pairing intentional rest, movement, and nervous-system education so you can begin to understand why you’re burned out and how to stop living in constant depletion.
This retreat takes place at Cascada in Portland, Oregon—a hotel intentionally built for clarity, grounding, and nervous-system regulation.
Cascada is not just a place we’re staying. It is part of the work.
Here, you’ll have access to:
This environment allows you to be independent but supported—together without being crowded, guided without being controlled.
At the core of this retreat is Jennifer Explains It All’s Burnout Recovery Training.
Over three days, Jennifer will guide a small, intimate group of 6–12 women through structured lessons, tools, and reflections focused on:
Each participant will receive a hardback Burnout Recovery Workbook & Journal.
This is not a workbook you’ll shove in a drawer. Jennifer teaches with the book—showing you how to use the prompts, pages, and space as a support system long after the retreat ends.
The training is intentionally
broken into three days so nothing feels rushed, overwhelming, or performative.
Each day follows a similar rhythm: move → learn → integrate → rest → reconnect.
Morning: Movement + Activation
Every morning begins with guided movement designed to wake up your body and reconnect it to your mind. These sessions are gentle, accessible, and grounding—not punishing workouts.
Scheduled classes include:
Movement helps your brain and body start talking to each other again—something burnout often disconnects.
After morning movement, Jennifer will guide the group through that day’s burnout recovery lesson using the workbook and group discussion.
Following the lesson, you’ll have intentional open time.
This time is yours.
You can:
We strongly encourage using the baths and spa—but nothing is mandatory. Autonomy is part of recovery.
In the evenings, we’ll come back together for light reflection, optional social connection, and a gentle movement offering to help your body wind down.
Nothing here is forced. Nothing is performative. You participate at the level that feels right for you.
This retreat is for women who:
You don’t need prior experience with retreats. You don’t need to be spiritual. You don’t need to share your story.
You just need to want something to feel different.
Meals are not provided. This is intentional—allowing you autonomy to eat when, where, and how your body needs during the retreat.
Spa services (massages, facials, etc.) are optional and booked separately.
Movement helps your brain and body start talking to each other again—something burnout often disconnects.
Spots are limited to maintain the integrity of the experience.
